This rocket -- a Mitsubishi H2-A--blasts off from Tanegashima Space Center tonight, scheduled for 1:37 EST (03:37 local time in Japan). On it is the GPM satellite. You can read more about GPM here. You can also tune in to a live feed of the launch at nasa.gov.
